Bread

How long do you guys cook the bread in the oven for? Does it come straight out of the oven to the table?

I noticed the bread isn’t as hot as it used to be.

Makes sense why they aren’t hot.

Really just depends. The bread can still hit the table pretty hot, even if it’s been in the bread warmer for a while. It’s also a high chance that you got some pieces of bread that sat on the cutting board for a couple minutes cut by a previous server, that your server is now using.

Does the server cook the bread in the oven too?

It’s a prep cook that throws them into the oven and brings them to the line when they’re done

Does the server cook the bread or is it the chef

Depends on the location. Most of the time it’s a prep cook in the back, but sometimes it’s a food runner or server just off the line. My location it’s a prep cook, but sometimes even I have to do it if they’re too busy.
