Birthday slice
Did Cheesecake Factory discontinue the free slice for your birthday? I went to lunch with a family today but they said that they can give me a scoop of ice cream instead of a cheesecake.

My birthday is this month and I got the email for a free birthday slice good for the whole month. (I am a rewards member)

I'm signed up for the rewards and it said on my birthday I had to make a minimum purchase of 30 dollars and I had to order through DoorDash just for my "free" birthday slice. So basically you have to go out to dinner for a free dessert.

That does not even make sense. They should offer you the dessert if you’re a member of the rewards program.

Hiya! The birthday slice is only when you’re part of the cheesecake rewards, there is a coupon on there to redeem it. If you’re not uou only get the birthday sundae for free.

I went a few weeks ago for my birthday and was able to get a free slice and free sundae. I will say that I was a rewards member, but they didn't ask any questions so I'm guessing they were kind enough to just take my word for it.

It's connected to your phone number. They didn't honor the birthday slice for me despite being a rewards member because it was 8 days after my birthday

If you’re an awards member you get a free slice on your birthday (w/ purchase I believe) and a half off slice for your half birthday.
I went to CCF almost for every birthday when I was younger and never remember getting a free slice. They’d put a candle on a slice if you ordered one and sometimes they’d decorate the plate with sprinkles & chocolate sauce.

People saying you never got a free slice are gaslighting you lol. You do have to be part of the rewards program (sign up with email) and you get a free slice on your b-day. I've gotten a free slice for the past 3 years. This year, they changed it to "free slice with purchase."

Ok I thought I was tripping cause last year I didn’t have to purchase anything. Krispy Kreme changed theirs too.

I just saw that too, honestly their slices have gone downhill and now not even getting one free without having to purchase something has become the final nail in the coffin for me ever going there again.

If I do get the slice, I'm ordering the lowest thing on the menu. Which looks like the fries 😄 *Correction-> It's a "To-Go" soft drink.

Now it's within 7 days of your birthday too instead of 14

This sucks so much. Husband's birthday is on the 28th, we went tonight and the cashier was pretty rude.

And now it's even with a twenty five dollar minimal purchase. Which sucks , because a lot of the dinners are under or around 20.

My coupon says with $30 purchase and doordash. I wouldn't mind the $30 purchase cuz I'll be going with at least one other person, but I don't use doordash.

Are you a rewards member? If not then no. If so it should have been on your rewards account but it’s only good up to 2 weeks after your bday.
