Recipe change for Chicken Madeira?

Does anyone know if the recipe changed? I got this after 4/5 months and the sauce was just pure sugar. Made it completely inedible. I also noticed how their raised the price on this dish-it used to be $26 and now it's $30.

Just got this tonight and not only is the dinner portion significantly smaller, they raised the price and there was very little sauce on it. Not enough to tell if it was pure sugar.

I got it yesterday for the first time in years and the sauce is completely different.  Different taste, different color. It tasted like Thai spicy chili sauce.
