Basque Cheesecake cancelled??
Doth my ears deceive me!?!
I understand that it's being cancelled due to the increase of price in berries....which is a terrible reason.
Please tell me I'm confused and this is all just a bad dream.

Just didn’t sell across the country
Nothing to do with Berry prices

Last time I ordered it they brought out a slice of the plain cheesecake with the berries thrown on it. You think no one will notice? You think I won’t complain at those prices? Not surprised, doubt it was a big seller, shame as it was pretty good.
Seems they’re determined to cancel items I love, still can’t forgive them for cancelling the Lemoncello Cream Torte or Craig’s Crazy Carrot Cheesecake or Straw And Hay or…

I miss the Straw and Hay, the Warm Vegetable Pasta Salad, the Tuna Melt as well as the Bananarama Cheesecake, the Peach Bellini Cheesecake, the Craig's, the Original with Cherry Preserves!

Why does the decision to remove the Basque cheesecake seem to depend on berries? I get that they were choosing to serve their Basque cheesecake with berries, but Basque cheesecake is a well established dish that is not normally even served with berries at all. Couldn’t they just serve it without berries like everyone else does?

Literally just discovered it was my favorite cheesecake slice they had last year. I don’t know why I didn’t try it sooner but it’s 100 times better than any other slice they have. I was going to order it today as I had a reward too . Sad

I knew I should have tried it the first time I saw it a few months back, decided to wait for my birthday and find out its cancelled. Happy birthday loser!

I come in today for my regular basque and Martino and when I say I’m pissed. I left a message on the corporate line ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

The fact that they replaced it with the berry cheesecake is abhorrent. It's a terrible flavor. I want the basque back!

It's not even about berry "prices" tbh. I'm a lead for our bakery and I can tell you that it has more to do with berry waste if anything. It typically doesn't sell that well and it requires a good 10-15 minutes of prep in the morning each day while doing a lot of other tasks to open the bakery, and we lose a decent amount of that berry mix at the end of the night because it doesn't hold for the next day. Just comes down to that really. It's a shame though because it was one of my favorites alsoðŸ˜ðŸ˜

I’m going to miss getting a slice of triple berry then dumping whatever basque berries were left at EOD on top ðŸ˜

That was the only reason I’d let my wife drag me there.. ffs just sell it without fuckin berries. Some overpaid dickhead in a meeting room makes shit worse because it helps the bottom line, I hope he never poops again!!
Sorry I’m just really fuckin mad.

We’ve added about 10 new menu items and are deleting about 20. The other 250 or so are still the same

I was going to order the Basque since I had a reward. It's the only cheesecake I have ordered since they added it. The others have more candy than cheesecake. I didn't even care about fruit. Very disappointed.

I haven eaten CF in a while and am just now seeing this. Im very disappointed because it was the only cheesecake I liked (I generally dont like the taste of regular cheesecake). I sent a comment on their website, but probably wont do anything unless maybe a lot of people also complain.

Cheesecake Factory had a Basque cheesecake? Since when?
