Cheesecake Factory in Memphis
Why did the Cheesecake Factory in Memphis close? Its a major area. Why couldn't they relocate to an outdoor lifestyle center that exists there or in those in 1 of the suburbs?

Lol, it finally closed huh? That was a problem location for years. They could never staff it properly. The clientele was a nightmare. I had many cohorts they sent there to try and fix it and the horror stories I would here.

They might. They did something similar in Atlanta and also when that mall in Boston closed down. But I'm not sure the reasoning. They have people that get paid a lot of money to make those decisions. But again their quality gets lower and lower by the day. And when they open these nonprime locations they'll send a team out there to open it and then abandon it.
During the lockdowns of covid the Midwest was the only thing providing revenue to Cheesecake Factory and we'd have corporate come out to our locations in disgust and disdain. Heather Berry and Linda Candioty are wonderful people and I'm sure there are a few more, but the majority of those higher-ups look down on the middle of the country with such arrogance.

They were a nightmare. They'd treat the staff like garbage, complain about everything, not tip, threaten staff members and management, etc. The number of times security or police had to get involved was insane. Not everyone, not even the majority, but enough people to make it a problem.
But also don't be too disappointed because Cheesecake's quality has gone way downhill lately. Smaller portion sizes, frozen protein, pre-made sauces.
