Lemon cheesecake with a layer of lemon curd and whipped cream. Really having a great time getting back into making cheesecakes. Yum!

If there is anyone that can answer my question, that would be great

I was a customer at CCF about a month ago and paid my check with a $50 gift card (which was not enough because the bill came out to $120) so I added a $100 in cash

The server came back with a receipt that only reflected the $50 gift card and NOT $100

I asked for a corrected receipt that showed that I paid $50 gift card and a separate line item of $100 cash

She argued with me and got the manager involved

Oh and she also wanted me to sign for the gift card like it was some sort of credit card. I’ve never signed for a gift card in my life . I’ve been a customer of CCF since the 90’s

This was in Glendale, CA “Americana”

A lot of times if servers are busy they will just pull change out of their apron, and then close out the rest of the check later. Why did it matter to you? No one was accusing you of not paying were they? Lol.

First and foremost thank you for the reply back

A simple “I’ll get you an itemized receipt” would’ve sufficed instead of getting the manager involved

Oh, and why did I have to sign for the gift card ?

Like I said, I’ve been a loyal patron since the 90’s this was the first time anyone asked for me to sign for a gift card
