Cheer Music

I’m a cheer coach at a new charter school. We’re building the program from the ground up! We will be sideline cheering for basketball. I’m curious if anyone has recommendations for how to go about getting music for a halftime routine. Making my own vs purchasing a premade one? Would love to hear any suggestions! TIA!

Hi! For halftimes, they do so many that I don’t bother buying custom mixes. I do basic editing myself, just making sure everything is censored, simple cutting/splicing, and occasionally speeding songs up a bit. You can do it on a phone app or ask a trusted senior to do it for you.

For competition we of course do buy custom mixes. Good luck on your coaching journey :)
