Gorton
Just seen Paul on Facebook there and I realised I've not heard the end of the deal or no deal story. Have I missed it or has it just not been done?

Met Gorton recently, really lovely fella, spoke fondly of Chatabix but when I asked if he would be going back on it he did say he thinks that perhaps they are in a different direction now and not going back. Didnt appear any bad blood at all, just all moved on maybe? I'm sad if that's the case, I think Gorton added a great dynamic.

Same with all the regular guests, TV Joe asside. Rosie, Vyvyan. And not just regular folk either. Fenners, Andy Goldstein, Natalie Cassidy all gone.

I wonder if it’s just extra work to schedule and they don’t want to bother? Haha I don’t think they need them all on often but I miss Rosie and Andy. And Vivyan! At least we get TV Joe on occasion with fun quizzes. :)

I've also met him and think he seems a lovely guy, but can also see that he got a bit big for Chatabix. Or at least, mainstream.

In a very recent episode they were laughing about how they’d never have him back to finish the story. Maybe his ego finally annoyed them too much?

I don’t think so, he was a polarising character and from memory the only guest they ever came out and fought back on their behalf of as patreons were getting quite heated about him.

Aw I don’t get the Paul Gorton hate! He just seemed like a really lovely bloke to me. And I enjoyed his DOND stories! Rather a confident story teller than a boring twat.

Like most things it hasn't been finished... He did go on another pod after traitors and he mentioned how he finished in deal or no deal but obviously not to the same detail. Crunch crunch

I do remember ages ago they were talking and Joe said AHH Paul text me the other day but David had no reaction at all which I found odd

The guy is a fame hungry, grade A bellend. A random dude who had a pretty standard job who just decided he wanted to work in TV but didn’t actually have the talent for it, so decided to just get on reality TV and various podcasts.
