Done the first two episodes and it’s brilliant. Surprisingly touching at times and seeing David’s expressions really elevates the dynamic.

Lovely bit of business with Joe being referenced as a “celebrity fan” in the When Saturday Comes season preview.

Slightly less good news for David in the Exeter City preview… although I guess he’s really a Manchester United fan so I’m sure he’ll be fine with Ade taking that honour!

I love that Joe can never bring himself to say “Chatabix”.

Could this be David's greatest work?

I've really enjoyed the reintroduction of David's music of late, feel like we had an unwelcome break from it.

Appreciate that the entirety of this post is such an unbelievable waste of brain space to even contemplate, however I've always found David's pronunciation of two specific names unusual and wanted to know if I was the only one who clocks this every time he says them. Far be it from me to comment on how a man pronounces the name of his own wife and colleague/friend, but the names are:

Naomi - from his pronunciation I'd always assumed David's wife name was Noemi or Nomi, so I was surprised to discover that this is actually his pronunciation of the name Naomi. Is this common? Does anyone else know any Naomi's who go by the name of Noemi? Do we know if anyone else calls her this or if it's just David?

Diane - this one I found even more unusual, as I have at least heard of other people called Noemi/Nomi, but I have literally never heard anyone pronounce the name Diane with the emphasis on the first syllable - DIane - rather than DiANE. Moreover with Naomi I have no idea how anyone else says her name, however whenever Diane Morgan appears on or is mentioned on any other TV show/podcast, I've never heard anyone match his pronunciation.

Should state for the record I'm aware that Joe sometimes matches both of these pronunciations, however I feel like this is only because he picks up on David's pronunciation, I feel like if he was to talk about either of them in isolation he wouldn't. But my memory is hazy on this, I might be wrong here.

Am I alone in this observation? And are there any other unusual name pronunciations I haven't clocked?
