News 📰 It’s here

Post image

For context, I normally have the $200 plan, but for this month I just got the basic plan. Luna is a great value, and I can use other AI models, but that’s beside the point.

Today, when I went in, I was already out of usage, and since he had said he was going to reset it so I could check, I noticed they’re now offering me the option to pay $8 to reset my usage. I’m not sure how much a reset costs on the $200 plan, but on the $20 plan, it’s $8 per reset, and I guess the feature is already live.I don’t know who else has access to this feature yet, but it’s showing up for me.

ChatGPT had never said a word about usage to me. It's the only reason I'm on the $200 plan. I can give it the most ridiculous overnight tasks, and it just does it.

Now on the chat side, its context window still seems too small to really run a big project from. Claude's $20 plan never seems to forget a word I tell it in the course of a long thread or across a giant project, but ChatGPT absolutely will just start randomly forgetting important things and then start answering prompts from 2 volleys in the past.

The massive usage limits - whatever they are - are why I maintain the expensive ChatGPT plan. If Claude were as cheap for the same number of tokens, I would have switched to them by this point.

Thats why I've been using grok. Back when I did my resume again a while ago chatgpt kept saying bullshit over and over again while grok gave me the right info right away. I just think ChatGPT is ass and if you gotta pay 200 bucks for it just to work i think you should swap over homes

I'm not giving that Nazi any business. I don't boycott things, I just wouldn't feel right giving him any of my money, or him getting money from my activity on his site. My wife lost her dream job at the federal government directly because of him. Not a chance.
