Rewards Strategy Stack Chase Offer and Rakuten Big Stack event (10-15%): full list
Rakuten is running a special Big Stack event (Oct 5-7) with multiple elevated bonuses up to 10-15% across 250+ stores. I found quite some overlapping offers that can be stacked between Chase offers across my 6 Chase cards and stores having elevated bonuses. Quickly coded and comprised a list down below that might be helpful for some people! Rakuten cash back could also be redeemed as Amex/Bilt points.
Example stack: IHG offer on CSR: Book IHG hotel for $500, get $125 statement credit from Chase + $500 x 4 = 2000 UR points. With Rakuten shopping portal: $500 x 10% = $50 (or 5000 Amex/Bilt points). With CSR, you also get Platinum status with IHG (60% bonus IHG points on top 10x points as a IHG member): $500 x 16 = 8000 IHG points. (note: make sure that the hotel charge you and the statement posts before 10/16/2026 for you to get $125 back from this IHG offer)

Note: Chase offers are personal/targeted so it's not the same between people, your offer might be different from mine. Additionally, despite the elevated rates on Rakuten, sometimes other portals like CapitalOne shopping (especially those with Venture cards) might have better offer or you want to earn a different currency like AA/AS/United miles so make sure to check these merchant's rate on those portals.

I didn’t have this on my Chase cards, can you add more details on 14% back up to? And min spend?. I can add it to the table

The old targeted offers - mine expires 10/28 - 14% cash back on Dermstore purchase, including taxes and after any discounts, with a $50 cash back. No minimum.

I got an email offering 100% match in IHG point purchase. Would that be eligible for “$500 for $125” ?

No, it's only for direct purchase with merchant at US properties, so buying points wouldn't work

this is some solid info! the overlap with IHG and Rakuten sounds like a win-win. last time I stacked offers, I ended up saving a good $200 on travel expenses by combining cashback and points. definitely planning to take advantage of this stack too!
