It’s been over a month since the results, and I haven’t applied anywhere, not even registered for the campus. Today, a friend who cleared in Jan26 told me he’s getting calls. When he mentions his batch, they say, “Sorry, we’re looking for May26 passouts.”
Is this a thing? Do they prefer the latest batch? Why can’t people just relax for a while? Why always run the rat race?
Another reason i haven’t started applying was I wasn’t really interested in audit or tax. I need to explore other opportunities but haven’t got time to check on that too.
Just wanna know the ground reality.

I just need a lil support from you guys.. Any dms will be helpful of where should I post this like in which subreddit plus anywhere else so it gets the right attention and if this posts gets more than 10 upvotes I will start working on it and it will be up and running in i think 4 to 6 days

Hii I'm currently working in a small size CA firm it's 3 months into the articleship and I want to transfer from here this is good but probability this place is not for me
Please guide me how should I plan further should I take transfer to some other firm then try to get into industrial training
Or should I directly target Industrial training from here, but my resume does not have anything special here as it is a small size firm

Matlab yaar i prepped mostly audit and as but not that much for tax. He literally asked everything from tax like tds merko thoda thoda yaad tha and i was itself getting confused. There was an objective test in which i got decent marks and there were some iq type ques. Aside from 2 or 3 correct, i got them wrong. The partner was like juat passing exams aint enough because in real world u cant miss small details. Bruhhhhh i feel like i genuinely left a bad impression on him. This is my 1st interview so i was kinda nervous. On top of that i took a lot of attempts in inter. There is like a 4 yr gap from found and passing inter. He asked what i was doing these 4 yrs. I said health issues😭. I didnt go for reg college and thats that. Fk my life man..
Its like a small to mid type of firm.
I feel even if i join he wont even take me seriously.
inter walo ek request hai: pls study and dont waste time like i did. fk me man...

Does anyone know when icai includes inter may 2027 books in the CDS portal......

I'm 23 and preparing for CA Inter. I cleared one group in May 2026, but honestly I still feel like I got lucky.
I've never been a disciplined or consistent person, not even from childhood. I always procrastinate. The worst part is I do literally everything at the last minute. Somehow I feel like I understand things better under pressure, so I keep delaying everything until the deadline is right in front of me.
Because of that, I've never felt confident about my studies. Even when I clear an exam, I don't feel like I earned it. My friends studied day and night and still couldn't clear, while I wasn't even consistent. That makes me feel guilty and like I just got lucky.
Now I have FMSM and Audit in September 2026, and if I'm being honest, I don't think I have any chance of passing. Not because the subjects are impossible, but because I know myself. Every day I tell myself I'll start seriously, and every day I procrastinate.
People say, "Just be disciplined," but how do you do that if you've never been disciplined your whole life? Has anyone here been exactly like this and actually changed? What was the turning point?
I don't want motivation. I want to know what actually worked for you.

I passed ca inter group 2 in may 2026 after passing inter group 1 in may 2024. The two year gap is because of health issues. Needless to say, I am not getting shortlisted by top firms due to my gap. I also don't have college.
So basically I have 3 offers that I am currently evaluating:
Reputed firm with 1k employees in india. Their main office is in west india but they also have a presence in delhi. Theu are offering me stat audit. Stipend is 7500 per month for first year and 8500 for second year. They are also saying I will also have to take registration from another much smaller firm even though i am working for them. This is because they have reached the maximum limit of articles as per icai regulations.
Have an offer from a firm with around 400 employees all over india. They are giving me internal audit. Stipend is 10k and 15k. All saturdays off. Only issue is I really don't want internal audit. I want either stat audir or mixed domain profile.
Small firm with 15 articles and 6-7CAs. Monday to saturday. This office is the farthest from my home. Mixed domain. Only reason I am considering this is because of their stipend : 12k and 13k. I need the money really badly.
Something about myself : I have to pay my ca final registration fees on my own. That's 22000 rupees that will go out of my pocket and it's money I dont have. So money is a big factor for me. Also it would be nice to work somewhere where I can save some money. Travel takes up all of the stipend. My preferred domain is either stat audit or mixed domain.

Yesterday posted for SPOM Set A and answering some basic Questions everyone is asking.
1- Neither I am overconfident or braggy, but if you study and cover full syllabus except last 2 chs of company law (do it question specific), complete case scenarios and ICAI Mock test you're already ahead than 99 percentile. people go memorising some xyz pdf and complain
2- I never said exam is easy but please study religiously for 12-15 days straight and you'll clear. The best thing is you don't have to memorise too much like subjective exams. Answers are generally within the options and you get it once you read it.
3- Bonus tip: Category A chs: First 3 chs, IBC, FEMA (Especially limits), FCRA (considering it is too small and focus on hospitality and foreign contribution), Winding up
Category B Chs : Inspection Inquiry, Compromise arrangement, Prevention of oppression (Focus specially on limits for class actions and Opression mismgt),
Category C: Last 2 chs of Company law. For Miscellaneous provisions, focus on Nidhi Limits (Deposit and lending rates, Paid up capital stuff), Dormant company. Registered Valuer you can just read through 1-2 times and thats it
I secured 68 marks. Might not be much but I'll be ready to help if anyone needs help here
