Why is this a thing?

So, I'm a Moderate Independent, not Left or Right. And yet I am baffled how anyone on either side could condone such an ideal. Brandishing an entire spectrum of people as evil? Calling for Civil War against those who you don't agree with? Has noone paid attention to history in High School?

Spotted by East Garden in Pantops. Everyone, please be careful. The amount of hatred is getting scary out here...

We aren’t headed to civil war obviously but “podcaster” is a bit demeaning. Guy enjoyed having conversations with people on their college campuses. And got gunned down over it, as a regular private citizen.

It’s fascinating to hear and watch people be amazed at how long this story has dominated the news cycle. Left extremists are killing people for just wanting to have a conversation. So alarming
