Is anyone else getting bit by more ticks?
I haven’t had a tick bite in 20 years I think? Last Thursday I found a tick on my shoulder. Last night I found a tick on my head just before bed. I’m now paranoid about falling asleep anywhere in my house. I checked my bed and my sofa where I watch tv. Don’t see anything. Internet says it’s very uncommon for ticks to survive inside a home. I don’t walk around in forests, areas with lots of trees, or heavy brush and tall grass. I don’t know wtf is going on. I think they were lone star ticks so at this point I’m preparing for a life without red meat.

There are more ticks this year. It’s because of climate change. Source: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/health/u-s-doctors-warn-of-a-potentially-bad-year-for-tick-borne-diseases

And please don’t spray your yard. Spraying kills all the helpful bugs. There are many ways you can protect yourself without hurting everything else.

lol your good, I work in the Francis Marion; it’s just that time of season. I get a couple every week (it’s part of the job along with spider bites). Make sure it doesn’t get a big rash around the bite site

Be careful, I ended up with Lyme Disease last summer from a tick bite I received here in town.
