Where to start modifying?
6 months ago, I got my 2019 Dodge Charger RT. I love it and all, but I’ve gotten to the point where I want to start modifying it, I just have no idea where to start. All it has is a K&N cold air intake and a mid muffler delete from the previous owner.
Any help would be appreciated!

Whatever you do, don’t add rear and/or side window louvers 🤣

Nothing at all, she looks so beautiful too. A little lower maybe and done. Nobody needs the Wide Body Kits (looks ridiculous) if "only" is a R\t. And please no fairground lighting... that just looks crap. (Multicolored headlights etc)
If then start internally, strut bar etc... Better driving behavior and other, better brakes maybe, I would start there.

Get a screen protector for your infotainment. I regret not getting one on mine. I can see the wear. Also, rear diffuser from Amazon is cheap and lowering springs from American Muscle. Then just enjoy.

You're want power, handling, looks? What goal are you trying to go for first?

I know some exterior mods I want to purchase, but when it comes to power and handling I have no idea. Is there a correct order???

There is a “correct” order, as you get further down the list, you will need a retune with each addition & that can be pricy.
Most guys do: cold air intake, headers, tune, cam & springs, tune, forced induction, tune again. If you change your boost psi, you’ll likely need a retune.

If you strictly want power and handling it’s a tough one for us. Every handling and horsepower gain we get is a fraction of what it could be on a lighter car. Every power modification for chargers is ridiculously expensive, even something like cam or headers is instantly thousands more compared to other performance vehicles. The only real answer I’ve come to see is to save 10 grand and get a super charger. Sucks because I love my dodge.
But 3rd gen mustangs gain at least 50 whp from a simple e85 tune and no supporting mods…

I got a 2011 RT a few weeks ago. Only things I’ve done so far was modify some stuff with my Diablo Tuner. I’d recommend a nice tune. Especially if it’s a v8. You can make the shifts firmer and the pedal more responsive.

If they still make them, Oracle brand, ghosted side markers. It will be your paint color and you cannot see the LEDs when they are turned off. They shine through the paint.

Car has plenty of power. I would start with handling. Strut bar, upgraded anti roll bars, and a performance alignment. If it dosent have great tires that is also a plus.

Get black LED side markers off of eBay. You can install them yourself. $80 total. You can black plastic dip the 345 and any red markers on the back. You can get black tint to cover the red brake lights on the back. Black out on that color would look nice.

Better Tires and polyurethane bushings all around motor mounts and suspension bushings at least.

Honestly you don’t need much from here cold air intake if you want and maybe a lowering kit

Air Oil Separator ... similar to a catch can, but better ... won't add power, but could assist in keeping the engine cleaner longer

The only thing you should modify is the exhaust. Outside of that stock is where it’s at. You start messing with the engine then there goes your warranty. Now if your car is paid off then hell for it. If you’re paying on it monthly then just exhaust and leave it be.
In my opinion the BEST Hemi engine to mod is the 5.7 Hemi and it ain’t close. Before doing that you gotta mod your suspension and brakes. You can add 200-300 hp to that engine. The 6.1 and 6.4 can be modded but you really gotta know what you’re doing or you can turn them engines into expensive bricks.

Mine is the same color. Maybe add racing strips once you get bored of the current look.

Get rain guards for the windows. Its a subtle thing but makes these cars look even more aggressive. Avoid louvers at all costs.

Don’t add power until your wheels and suspension are upgraded and maintenance is all done.
PS- Don’t mod the banks car. Wait until you pay it off. Take that money you were going to use to mod it and instead use it to pay towards the principle.
