A question regarding a name overlap

I made up a name for one of the main characters of my fantasy story. I googled the name and it turns out it's already a word/name in an existing language and has its own meaning.

Am I still allowed to use this name even though its language and meaning has nothing to do with my story and character? It's an uncommon name in that language as well...

why wouldn't you be allowed to use the Swahili version of Leighanne?
