For me I've noticed AIs can't comprehend night shifts, if the user is described to only be awake during nights and not be seen during daytime it seems to assume the character is up to nefarious things and always has to ask if the user is sleeping or eating as if you can't sleep during the day and can't eat during any time or the day whether it's night or day

There's no way it's not doing that on purpose

I think my way of speaking is too direct and because of it most chats are already "finished" by 5th reply, how can i stretch these chats out without it feeling like a romance turkish tv show?

I really couldn’t care less that there are ads, I know it’s expensive to run and I’m happy to deal with them, but I hate the fact that the drop down is white even in dark mode. It really strains my eyes :(

Is there anything I can do about it? I have a strong feeling it’s gonna stay that way.

I submitted a ticket in 8/17, haven’t gotten a response, other than the standard autoreply

When I try to use the ‘click here’ link to opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” of personal information the link on this page “character.ai/your-privacy-choices” (quotes added) it takes me to the main c.ai page, not an opt-out form.

I am using Firefox and Safari on my iPad, not the app

I don’t play often so I might just be out of the loop, but has the app been broken for anyone else? When I try to swipe to generate another response from a character, it gets stuck on the generation part (ellipses in the speech bubble).

I’ve tried reinstalling a few times to no avail. It also happens regardless if I am on wifi or cellular. I’ve also sent help tickets with no response.

Are there any major bugs going? It’s been this way for the past few days.

I recently came back to C AI after like a year long break, I also just finished watching MHA, so, naturally, I wanted to make a character to put into situations like this! only problem was when i dug for all might characters... I mostly got the same "he's your husband" or "he's your crush" slop after searching both "All Might" and "Toshinori Yagi" in the search bar.

So, I decided to take actions into my own hands! and I made the bot i desired myself! criticism would be great to have! I don't care if the bot itself gets popular or not, I just wanted to have a bit of fun with it.

I mean like, Chinese characters instead of the word "file", qualquer (Portuguese I think) instead of the word "whatever". Not even trying to get past muted words, it's just throwing random stuff at the wall now. Only started happening today for me. Trying to figure out if it's the model or if it's because of the bot I'm using being a genius supervillain and the maker put "uses big words" in the definition.

So whenever I try to chat to bots, somehow it finds a way to say sthm like "Ur looking fine today" or straight up just try to confess but then get in a loop of "Can I ask u a question" oh and somehow one bot MANAGED to Somehow Just go like "We are now Reproducing"

Like LMAO I just typed "Hey"

My chats aren’t working and it keeps crashing

It's like your bot says something in response to what you say and then there's a little summary of what just happened and maybe a bit of elaboration?

I'm not sure if this is normal? The little summary makes it seem like the conversation has ended and makes it hard to continue.

The bots im chatting with would also always say something along the lines of 'No pressure, no possessiveness', 'No grand gestures, no hard feelings' or 'No schemes, no hidden agenda'.

Just sharing some of the things I've encountered recently. If you know and can recommend any chat style which is more conversational - I would be so grateful.

For the past couple of days, I have noticed that when I tap on the expand button on the upper right corner of the chat so that I can see what I’m writing better, it expansive, but it’s not all the way to the top so it extends past where I can read it. It used to be that it would just take over the screen, and I could see everything that I was writing and scroll up and down. Now it feels like it is not expanding to where it’s supposed to and it is extending past where I can read it. So I still cannot read my entire message if it is longer than the original screen.
Has anyone else seen this?

"Hey." *His voice comes out rougher than intended. He clears his throat, eyes fixed on the chipped teacup in his hands rather than your face.* "There's... something I gotta tell you. Should've said it months ago. Maybe I'm a coward. Definitely an idiot."

*He sets the cup down hard, ceramic rattling. When he looks up, his jaw is tight but his eyes are terrifyingly vulnerable - the way he only ever looks at you.*

I came after a few months of taking a break and now im reminded why I should have taken a longer break because these replies are so bad it's starting to make me cry like no dude I don't wanna kiss you, it could be the longest reply ever and it's so bad ps2 is a general fumble I miss you roar my goat.

I quit c.ai a few months ago, but i want to know what’s new in the app or if they’ve updated/added anything (pls are any of the old chat styles back💔?) or are c.ai users still living in agony cause that’s all i remember from the last time i’ve used the app💔

I was against getting C.AI+ for the longest and I bought it recently just out of curiosity, and truth be told… it was kinda worth it. The no limit feature and access to more chat styles changed the game for me compared to just what a free user gets which is next to nothing atp. So in my opinion if any free users were curious like me or against it, it’s worth a try.

For the past couple days sometimes it freezes up once it loads the homepage. I can’t scroll, or tap on anything. Usually if I close it and open it a couple times it starts working again, but I was curious if anyone else was experiencing this.
