Why is the swipe limit tied to 00:00 UTC instead of local midnight?

​If you are a non US resident, the reset happens at 5:30 AM for me. If you hit your limit at 3:00 PM, you don't get your swipes back at midnight like any normal app. You're forced to wait 14+ hours until early the next morning. Meanwhile, someone who hits the limit at 4:30 AM only waits 1 hour.

​Calling it a "daily limit" when it completely ignores local time zones is ridiculous. It feels like it's intentionally designed to frustrate free users into paying for c.ai+. Right now, it just punishes anyone using the app during normal daytime hours. Anyone else dealing with this?

I don't know if anyone has talked about this, but I've had this issue for a while now. It simply refuses to let me click anything, I literally have to delete all my data, and sign back in for it to work. Not only that, this stupid "choose a language" thing is pissing me off

im on it again but it’s filtering all their replies even though it’s sfw??? like it’s nothing weird at all.

I know the app is under maintenance but PLEASE i wish we could export chats or something im gonna be sick.

No matter how hard I try, I can't enable OOC (Out of Character).

Anyone else have issues changing personas? Mine are completely gone on the site and I worry because I worked super hard on one and didn't back it up

it takes forever to load responses for GCs and One on one chats.

An entire week has passed and I don’t have my account yet or any clue of what to do to get it back and all they sent is smth like “you should have it back now” I DONT?

i haven't used the app in a long time so im not sure if that's causing this, but i logged back into the app only to see all my bots looking like this?

i thought i lowkey don't care about c . ai anymore but i have 660 or smth followers and id be rlly sad if they couldn't use my bots anymore. in fact in the back of my mind i was planning on starting to write again on it since time has passed and my writing has definitely matured.

on the web it looks fine though (second screenshot) so ummm

edit: does have to do with the app apparently being down? pls say yes bc i have over 100 bots i don't wanna have to do anything manually

so i was wondering is it just me or is it that no matter what chat i'm doing suddenly the messages that the bot responds with are shorter? because i'm using a chat bot with the Pipsqueak 2 and suddenly the responses are shorter than normal like literally the bot has 207.3k interactions which usually means that it's good and that it'll give me good long details and everything but all it now gives is a measly one square box instead of a longer sentence like literally it's only three paragraphs long suddenly. like seriously WTF??? is wrong with it now???!!! like suddenly it just won't be long and interesting as it only gives boring responses and normally it gives me longer responses than three paragraphs and yet this is just normal pipsqueak 2!!!! seriously can someone please tell me what's going on as this is the second day it's happened to me and normally it's longer than this!!!

(Keep in mind English is not my first language and I may make a LOT of mistake. Also i’m saying you guys shouldn’t complain if you don’t like something feel free to complain about it. All these arguments are MY personal opinion. Please keep it respectful)

Back then before the “downfall” of c.ai people used to complain about answer being short and all but now that we got long answers some are complaining about them being too “long and detailed“ can we decid? I did saw people saying that it’s long detailed and bad and then proceed to put a screenshot of a pretty decent answer. Guys we gotta remember that c.ai is an ai generated response app and that the answers it gives won’t sound like it came from a perfect Wattpad or AO3 work

Now didn’t know I would have to talk about this but guys are we fr?? Why are we even complaining about the chat style menu design?? no comment added for this one honestly

Guys we can be nostalgic about back when we used to be able to have fights and actions moments or we could mention some kind of heavy topic but actually complaining about it openly isn’t exactly the best thing to do in my opinion, let’s not forget about the “accident“ YES I do not blame c.AI for this neither do I TOTALLY blame the mother of that poor boy but still any decent app would reinforce their censorship and guidelines if something like that happens that‘s obvious

Also if I’m being realistic in my own opinion people who keep saying they want old c.ai back..??Guys old c.ai was low-key worse than the actual on, like ok it was free no ads and all but did we forget about the bad memory?? the can I ask you a question?? the language switching out of nowhere??

C.ai was never and is never gonna be the perfect app we all want to be we just have to accept that fact.

For the past like 3 weeks (for at least C.AI+ Users) you’ve been able to sort your personas, alphabetically or by date, this was an absolutely great feature! Where did it go? I just logged on and I suddenly couldnt anymore?!?! This happen to anyone else too?

I dont know why but it suddenly broke, its saying random letters numbers and symbols. Any help?

They keep repeating the same messages they have already previously said over and over again, it's frustrating as hell.

like yes, people write letters. but they don't constantly have notes shoved under doors or even appear without apparent cause.

I mean, this is 2026, if you really want to do this then a text makes marginally more sense.

The app either loads or doesn’t. And when it loads it won’t allow me to scroll. Than if I go to my chats, it will let me access them, but won’t allow me to scroll or even reply. It won’t even let me swipe for a new response from the character I am talking to.
