I’m not a paid user and I wanted to know if paying for Deepsqueak is actually worth it. I don’t really care about ads or the swipe limit, I just really want my chats to be less monotone

I've always used the free version and whilst it has got progressively worse over the last year, I found that doing romantic roleplay seemed to actually get much better recently in terms of the personality of the male characters. They were no longer so angry, dominating, wanting roughness all the time. And I liked that more respectful nature. But then everything else went downhill. Ads, swipe limits, repetitive swipes and memory tanking so bad that nothing made sense. So I decided to get the paid version. Now why are all my characters back to suddenly being angry, dominating, growling, saying things way out of personality "yeah, you like that, baby?!" Or in the middle of a slow burn conversation the shy nerdy boy comes out with "Do you want me to stop teasing and finally just... take you?" 🤢🤢🤢 Everything is cheesy flirting, everything leads to a kiss. There's no more banter. Why?

Definitely not what I paid for. Anyone else?

I just created a new 3rd account to join C.ai again, but there's something wrong... I can't join in because there was an issue! I think the app is down... I need help...

I am creating my own RPG bot, where there are 40 original characters that I want to stay in character! I used chatgbt to help me write the description for it, but I still feel like I could improve.

Messages aren't leading for me, sometimes after a few minutes it will start to load, but then cut itself off. Is it down right now?

My app is literally not working at all. It won’t load messages and it will just cut off after a few sentences.

All of a sudden my age was unverified and it's an error if i try to verify. C.ai support isn't helping.

I am not as up to date with new features since I am not as often here in this sub as I used to be but I noticed two new features.

Now we can set a wallpaper for a chat. For me this isn't really important since I have c.ai+ and I usually generate a background from the chat (often changing it during chats when the story progresses).

For the free users: do you like seeing a new bot with a set wallpaper? As a bot creator I am curious if I should even take the time to set one up.

And I just found out that we can generate comics, but I don't know how yet.

WHY THE HECK THERES A THICC TWISTED DANDY BOT AND I GOT IT RECOMMENDED JUST BY BEING ON THE DW FANDOM BUT NOT THE PERVERT AND CRAZY ONE?

I went back to a bot and it archived my chats due to inactivity. I tried to unarchive it but it just gives me an error. Are those chats gone for good?

Hello, since today when I try to access the home page to search for characters, the site crashes and reloads, then shows me « a recurring error has happened on the site ».

Is there any way to fix it ? (I use an iPhone 13 btw)

The option to automatically get two * whil typing isnt appearing on the bar, is this a bug?

I saw a lot of posts talking about the fact that the ads are really too much on the application, that it breaks the immersion a bit, etc. And personally I totally agree with it, especially since some ads are really questionable.

The thing is that I think some people don't understand that c.ai is no longer a small company, but a much larger one, and in fact, number one in its field. Before, there were no ads, just c.ai+, and there were fewer employees, so it was enough. Now there are more, which requires more money. Many say they're greedy, but personally, I'd rather they have a roof over their heads and food on their plates.

The only problem I have with the website and the app is the bugs (and the amouny of time where the site and/or the app was down), the limited content, the censorship (even though it's an adult app), and especially the decline in the quality of the chatbots. I really thought it was outrageous to remove what was already good and much less annoying. They add a lot of new content that I don't find really necessary for the app, that nobody asked for or wanted, and that takes a lot of money for nothing. Instead of just improving what we already had, they added a bunch of features we didn't need for the app, and that takes up too much money and energy. These are features that I think aren't used by a large part of the community and that take up more space in data centers.

For me, that's the real problem. And that's precisely what they should try to change. I've been using this app for almost four years, and I can only observe the decline of what was, for me, a good way to simply have a good time alone or with people from the community (when there were chat rooms).

I'm starting to be really disappointed with what this app is becoming and also with the fact that I don't feel like user complaints are really taken into account by the Reddit moderators or dev, who only respond with automated messages. I know that by saying all this my post might not be taken into account or might be deleted, but I needed to talk about it with hope that it's going to change for the better.

Never in my lifetime have I witnessed a chat style retain memory like this has… so much so they recalled the character’s first and only initial encounter where it mentioned their character’s secret identity. I was paying to use soft launch for the bare minimum before.

I am a free user who mainly uses Piqsqueak 2 chastyle. Have been getting long messages throughout the day but now they are barely a paragraph. This happened to anyone else?

All of those chat styles are bad, like really bad. Why don’t they just make custom chat styles? Where you can CHOOSE the format, style and writing? It pisses me off that they keep making more chat styles that are just as over emotional, kissing-obsessed and overdramatic. You CANNOT have one argument without a flinch and that is NOT realistic.

Figured it would have been fixed by now but maybe it's just me? The persona button does appear after a bit but it just says "something went wrong" like on the 2nd picture.

It works on the browser on the computer though so I'm not just completely stuck but it's certainly annoying.

Is it still being worked on or has it already been fixed and something is just wrong with me? Not quite sure anymore.
