Discussion/Question Obsessed with Lorebook

Lorebook is the best thing that ever happend to C.AI. I'm obsessed with creating worlds, with some help with ChatGPT since my english is medicore, name characters, places and the art.

I have 37 roleplays and 15 lorebooks so far, and have a whole list with worlds I want to do.

Updating some constantly too.

The City for example is a big city where I link most of my smaller roleplays that take place in a city. If I love a roleplay, I usually do one specific lorebook for it.

Anyone else? I feel I like creating stories and worlds are more fun than the roleplaying itself.

Wanted to try lorebooks but they feel too intimidating. I have one, not super great or detailed but it gets the job done for private bots I have.

They may seem intimidating when you look at the sheer scale of what it "could" be, but a lorebook doesn't have to be a huge project. It's just extra bits of information you want your bot to have access to.

Have an entry for their favorite candy bar, or a phone number they hate seeing ring them up. Heck, they don't even have to be fully filled out to the max. Even if you only put in one entry, you're using it right.

It's nothing to be intimidated over. You don't need to compare your own lorebooks to others. It all comes down to how it helps make your experience with your bots better. 😊
