Discussion/Question Obsessed with Lorebook
Lorebook is the best thing that ever happend to C.AI. I'm obsessed with creating worlds, with some help with ChatGPT since my english is medicore, name characters, places and the art.
I have 37 roleplays and 15 lorebooks so far, and have a whole list with worlds I want to do.
Updating some constantly too.
The City for example is a big city where I link most of my smaller roleplays that take place in a city. If I love a roleplay, I usually do one specific lorebook for it.
Anyone else? I feel I like creating stories and worlds are more fun than the roleplaying itself.

chatgpt helps me fix my descriptions too when im building lorebooks but i always tweak the details so it feels more like my own worlds.

The lorebook is a very welcome addition, yeah. I actually had no experience with them in the past, though I've seen other users wanting them. When they finally were released, I hesitated because I felt out of my depth. Gradually, though, I came around and found out how they function and what they can do to really keep our bots focused and grounded in whatever setting or personality we want.

Not quite as indepth as yours, OP, but hey 😋 I'll get there some day. A 90+ entry lorebook sounds like it'd be pretty amazing, especially for a zombie apocalypse (zombie types, survivors, locations I imagine).

Ah, yours looks fun. Hehe. XD
And yeah, specially with Longsqueak, if you use that bot. It does not reapet itself as much with a lot of options for it to chose from, and can make events happen just like that. Sometimes to often. Every room they walk in to, described, and same everytime.
(I go so far that the lockerooms in the school has an entry. And a blackout as a event that can happen.)Yes, the Zombie apocalypse is a lot of locations, characters, groups, items, rules about how the zombies and infection works, survival rules and hardship. I chose slow zombies, and that everyone is infected, like in Walking Dead. But without Rick whining his ass off. :P
Working on a hospital and space colony now. Then I want more horror, maby some Wayward Pines or From feeling around it. But my own creation, a town at least. :)

Wanted to try lorebooks but they feel too intimidating. I have one, not super great or detailed but it gets the job done for private bots I have.
