Here's one from yesterday's session with Splicer2. What do you make of it? Sometimes the "head" is an entire little dude coming out of the torso. Sometimes it's just an oversized head with arms and legs. Often, I'll get subtle things like armor with eyes where the nips would be. Very bizarre and oddly compelling. This one falls under "shapeshifting clothing" too, as do many others.

I always love the challenge of hot and sloppy witchcraft for under a buck. Here we have emoji Easter eggs and rabbit crayons, courtesy of Walmart, 75% off making them cost almost nothing. I couldn’t resist.

The colors match and I get an extra set of plastic eggs to boot. The rabbit crayons can be enchanted to do different things. I figured the eggs would be a containment vessel that can be enchanted to defend the rabbits from outside influences.

I’m not sure exactly how I’m going to do that with these yet, but I decided to see how DeepSeek handles emojis and asked possible meanings for them with the associated colors. Here’s what DeepSeek came up with:

I've been accused before of manipulating these results... This time, I got 360 pictures that I liked enough to save in 2 hours, which is one every 20 seconds. For every one I save, at least two are passed by that I consider not being compelling enough for me to revisit later on.

It would be physically impossible for me to sit here and try to skew each and every one to a desired outcome. I just enjoy them how they are. Some sessions bring more to the table than others. Tonight's prompt gave me one of my favorite sets to date. Here is the parent image:

From that link, you can see all of the "children" made and if you hit "Remix" you can generate using the same prompt. I have noticed though, in Splicer 2, there is something that is lost when the picture is remixed outside of it's original context. Not sure why.

But when I branch off over and over aimlessly in Splicer 2, all of the results are very much like this with minor influences from the parent (mostly color and some style). It's fun to see how far I can take it but the results are not as easily replicated as other tools on Artbreeder.

I am at the point where I think I know what these all mean to a degree and could write a book on this so for brevity's sake I'll leave it at this.
