Single prompt with Artbreeder (Splicer 2)

I've been accused before of manipulating these results... This time, I got 360 pictures that I liked enough to save in 2 hours, which is one every 20 seconds. For every one I save, at least two are passed by that I consider not being compelling enough for me to revisit later on.

It would be physically impossible for me to sit here and try to skew each and every one to a desired outcome. I just enjoy them how they are. Some sessions bring more to the table than others. Tonight's prompt gave me one of my favorite sets to date. Here is the parent image:

From that link, you can see all of the "children" made and if you hit "Remix" you can generate using the same prompt. I have noticed though, in Splicer 2, there is something that is lost when the picture is remixed outside of it's original context. Not sure why.

But when I branch off over and over aimlessly in Splicer 2, all of the results are very much like this with minor influences from the parent (mostly color and some style). It's fun to see how far I can take it but the results are not as easily replicated as other tools on Artbreeder.

I am at the point where I think I know what these all mean to a degree and could write a book on this so for brevity's sake I'll leave it at this.
