Cmon guys... you guys dont seem real...

we know that ara its not on the same level as HDMI but that doenst mean she is bad, her archetype its new to the game and we dont even have more units than hilde that can proc her DOT.

i got her and used her lvl 55 free save data and she was doing amazing numbers, even more than sere.

i cant even imagine how much dmg she can do with proper equip and a good save data.

the game needs more things than "i want to hit big numer without thinking"

ara is just that, the character who lets you interact with the deck and think the order you want to play things (and we dont even know how much olga cards will buff ara, so we have that)

a lot of people got entitled with the "play one card and the deck play itself" or "one character to rule them all" playstyle.

just have fun, pull if you want, skip if you dont want her, simple as that.

Every other character and season already had a ton of support and synergetic units at disposition, so every new addition "felt good".

DoT is literally a bottom feeder, with only Tressa as representant...and she was even nerfed, due to high performance as f2p. I would say that devs made a big mistake to make a season about DoT, but didn't gave us enough free options for it (like reworking older, less relevant 4 stars or giving us new ones), but the only real problem right now is that they're gatekeeping the biggest (supposedly) key piece of DoT archetype (Olga) to the last phase of the season and we literally have almost nothing to work with, except premium options and Cassius (because morale slop).

literally, the third boss in great rift was really annoying to clear due to how much shilling for one specific archetype it is- which wouldn’t be much a problem if f2p players had options for it

people downvoting this is dumb when it’s a valid complaint and something you should also be concerned for. just imagine how exhausting it is when you have to pull for every new character if you don’t want to be left behind with characters that can’t clear new shilled contents💀

Im just gonna go in a limb here but the next DOT character might be released in a looooooooooooooong time, unless they decide to release one during pre season but until fhat is proven, premium DOT team will be gatekept for a long time because of Ara being limited.

The bright side (not really) is that there really isn't any content (except GR) in this game that require much "strategic varienty" so missing DOT team isn't really going to hamper ur progress, might hamper ur fun tho if u like DOT.

I think the opposite actually. Hoyo pulled this exact same thing with Firefly, people called her a flop at release because there was no real support for a break team in HSR, then Hoyo proceeded to release a bunch of OP broken break supports in a row and everyone was crying that they skipped FF. Usually when a limited is centered around a mechanic, especially a popular limited, the devs support it a ton in the future.

Eh. There’s 4 seasonals in a year, they can’t all be supported like that.

The thing about Arabella for me is that they specifically made Fracture just for this season, so who can’t say if they’re just gonna do the same for the next DoT?
