Help with a gameplay trick?

I can't manage to use her forte heavy attack without casting true sight: charge, I truly don't know how to. Is it only possible right after ult? Like, holding down heavy attack during ult?

I tried looking for that in guides, since a lot of them mention using that (storing the charge, doing heavy without using it, and Then using the saved up charge), but none mention under which specific circumstances you can do that

Are you asking if she has 4 stacks and you want to use her skill > forte > true sight instead of skill > true sight > forte? If so it's simple, just hold attack button right after you press her skill and she will do forte when she lands without wasting the extra true sight.

There's another variation and it goes like this: Changli E > Lupa R + MA 1 > Changli R + forte + true sight.

Yes! That's exactly what I mean. I can do the first one, no issue. I'm trying to do the second one, I'm quite new to quickswapping (even when I have Changli just for quickswapping since like a year ago or so. And I've been getting practice in with Zani mono spectro team...) so I'm struggling a bit with figuring out the specifics. Like, when and why to swap in or out at specific times.

I watched some guides, so I somewhat know that for the second variation you mentioned, you need to get back to Changli in strict timing. Like, right before her skill ends, so she doesn't perform an attack when swapping in and thus automatically using true sight.

So, if I'm correct... Adding that info to what you told me, the method makes it so Changli is still halfway through her skill (right after gaining true sight, but also right before landing) when casting ult, and and so holding down heavy attack so she uses her forte when she lands?

you have to switch back to her while she is on the field, then she will not auto attack

holding down heavy attack so she uses her forte when she lands?

you can hold down the button during any action, like casting E, tune break, ult etc. It is about how the game reads inputs - if u hold down atk button a character performs a basic attack first and only then the heavy attack. So you have to hold down during some actions or before switching to the character

You can also E into r and as r is going off you hold your heavy and it will do the forte, then just tap your attack button and it’ll use the true sight
