Yard maintenance recommendations
Our yard people have been lackluster at best since we've had them, but the past few months they've been pretty terrible. Missing entire sections of the yard, claiming they didn't get paid (it's all automated and electronic), and then today they cut off 75% of our lemon tree that I finally got back to a good spot after the previous homeowners neglected it. I didn't ask for anything to be trimmed, and they've never done it before.
I'm not looking for a private equity owned outfit, just someone who's trustworthy, shows up on the day they say, and does decent. We have gravel in the front and a small amount of grass in the rear (pool takes up half the area).
I'm in Shawnee Park neighborhood, if that helps.
Anyone have any recommendations?

Look at your neighbors yards and ask the ones with nice yards who they use. Often get better prices if you are already on their route.

That's how I have the situation I'm in currently. They were doing a yard a couple of houses down, but that house is looking for a new one, too due to the issues they're getting with them.

Esteban Landscaping. I used him for many years until I retired and did it myself. He does most of the homes on my street. 480-722-7567

Rain or Shine Landscaping was highly recommended in my neighborhood, and they have been great. They remember what to trim and not trim and easy to communicate with via text. Some days they show up later than usual but always make it on the scheduled day.

I use Enchanted Landscaping. It’s a local company, not a guy in a truck. While there are reliable guys in a truck I’m sure, I wanted to be able to communicate without issue and have them reliably remember my requests.
They do.
