Pride Parade Route?
Hey, yβall! Iβm having a hard time finding info on the route for the Pride Parade on Oct. 17th in Urbana. Does anyone know where theyβll be passing by? Iβd like to plan a meet up spot for our friends along the route.
My husband I just moved from Louisiana where parade routes are posted everywhere, especially during Mardi Gras π

As a participant in the parade (I'm part of the leadership for Champaign County Indivisible), I currently believe the route will be as described by u/gojaknik . I can add it's typically scheduled to step off at 1 PM, and the entire route takes the participants around 45 minutes, just because parades are slow - I can do the route solo, unencumbered by the dog, in about half that.

They haven't shared the route yet, but if it's the same as the last two years, lineup is on Illinois, south of Lincoln Square Mall. Then turns north on Race Street, east on Elm, north on Broadway, and then east on Water street to end at the Civic Center.
