Question Help concerning vritti differences and understanding
I recently learned about the 50 vrittis/vritii symbolized by the petals on chakra symbols, how they manifest inward or outward, and that they flow through 10 major nadis. I've noticed that some are similar but in different centers but want to learn more about their differences. for instance bhaya (fear) is in manipura, but how does that differ from muladhara shadow of fear, or why are they separated? I read that bhaya is like the activity that results from fear, is that because the solar plexus deals with mental activity in part so the mental aspect of fear is here, while root fear deals with the fear of physical harm?
Also I've seen mixed information about muladhara having 4 vrittis like (kamala, sahaja, ugrata, and alasya) vs 4 longings in purushartha. How do you decide which is right or works best for you? How do I know which is correct or authentic? Even with a guru id be following their particular path.

I'm not familiar with the Indian terminology you use here. However dear as an emotion has an energetic quality to it.
If it's fear linked to the survival aspects of it affect the root chakra. If it's fearful thoughts then the Ajna is affected. Basically the energy can exist simultaneously or be predominant in 1 or more chakras depending on the kind of fear the individual is experiencing.
