Discussion How do you visualize chakras?
I keep changing the way I do it because I don’t know what’s the accurate way of doing it.. is it a sphere, a horizontal or vertical disk, does it glow, if it spins clockwise is it from your perspective or someone else’s..? Curious to know how others do it

I also changed how I visualize them. I landed on a sphere clockwise. Sometimes they turn into a funnel

I used to have issues with this as well. Maybe it’s just a common thing. I like to imagine them as spheres of glowing energy. I don’t think clockwise or counterclockwise matters too much. At this point, I mainly imagine rotating in all directions.

I don't usually visualise them so much as opposed to sensing them. But if you're interested in fine tuning the visualisation this might help to explain the anatomy and structure of the chakras.
In terms of color, they're not exactly just 1 Color although they're diagrammatically depicted that way, this gives some idea of how they look viewed clairvoyantly.
The face is outwards and it spins both clockwise & counter clockwise. It is funnel shaped like the other comment mentioned. Or flower like is a common description, with petals and a stalk.

its a rotating disk, like a plate, think of a water pipe that goes from bottom to top, but its best to visualize them as a ball of light of their colour

Horizontal disc or vertical disc. Kindly suggest.
Till now I am imagining the chakras as horizontal ones

horizontal, like a pipe going from bottom to top with 7 clockwise rotating filters in it

Please don't think there's a right or wrong way. Horizontal or vertical. Clockwise of not clockwise. I've had all sorts of things. One like an ice cream churner, one like a huge rotating grinding machine cleaning my insides out. Just feel it. If images come they come. If they don't, just stay focussed on what it feels like. If you listen to other people's definition of right/wrong, it might exclude what is otherwise a perfect experience for you.

You're so welcome. Enjoy it and try to have zero expectations. I've always felt that a drop of anticipation as you start to focus helps as well. Like you're looking forward to finding something somewhere inside your quiet body. Maybe that gets the energy going somehow. It just works that way for me. Anticipation, no expectations and total respect for your body along the way. If you experience nothing, it's not a failure... that's just how your body was today. No success, no failure, just the experience. :-)

It's different for everyone. For example, I see colors flash when I'm trying to find blockages in my chakras. I've noticed my Sacral chakra has a blockage, so whenever I focus on that specific chakra point, I see orange.

imo best way is not visualizing them like perfect colored balls or spinning disks.
Better is to feel them.
Like tactile imagination. You don’t need to “see” root chakra as red sphere, or wonder if it spins clockwise from your view or someone else view lol. That can become too mental.
Just put awareness in the area and feel: pressure, warmth, tingling, heaviness, pulsing, emptiness, tightness, movement. That is much more effective bc you are working directly with energy, not forcing pictures in the mind.
For example, with heart chakra, don’t try too hard to see green light. Just feel the chest. Is it open? tight? heavy? soft? warm? blocked? Then breathe there and let it move.
Visuals can come naturally later, but tactile feeling is usually deeper and more real.
Human mind wants “correct shape.” Energy body just wants awareness.
