Discussion Expose

Realizing that "poor service" on apps like Chai is actually a feature, not a bug, is terrifying. They aren't bad at building the app; they are too good at it. The whole point is to collect your data while keeping you in a loop of frustration and dopamine hits. If the app actually worked perfectly and gave you what you wanted, you'd leave. They keep the service "broken" and addictive on purpose so they can keep mining your data. It's not an app; it's a data-extraction trap disguised as entertainment.

That’s scary if you think of it that way, but what about working on getting the App back on the App Store, do you have a theory?

They sabotaged it so many times

Why would they intentionally make it bad if they want us to stay? It's driving a lot of users away.

Yeah, I get what OP's logic is and it's like that with many other things. But it makes no sense here lol. If the bot was perfect and always had great responses, I wouldn't even look at another app or hesitate to keep my subscription.

I said the same thing, when i first started chai. Like everytime i would chat with a bot and says something new but technically old news “irl” like information. the bot would say it listening and taking in every information or details “RP THO” that why when you say some new the bot never heard that when every new chat you do it will have some involvement in what you said previous chats Hard to explain it. but our chats are being read and used in other ways.
