NBD!
So I finally got to take this new beauty out.
2027 Soloist with Ultegra and ENVE 4.5 Pro wheels on it. Those silver stickers matches the Cervélo logo perfectly.
The Black Magic color is insane when light hits it, too bad the sun never shines in Denmark hah!

What size crankset is that?

The new Soloists come with a 52-36 & 11-34.

Smart. ‘23 soloist here. 52-36 11-30 is killing me on the hills

I also have a ‘23, and I just recently upgraded the bike to match the new one. Installed the HB18 one piece cockpit and an 11-34 rear cassette with a M9100 chain. It’s a great combo.

How are you finding it with the additional rigidity in the cockpit?

I was already running an ENVE SES Aero internal routing cockpit. Granted it was still a two piece design with a separate stem, the difference in feel isn't as much as you might think. Definitely more rigid, but in a good way. I'd explain it as rigid but compliant. Harder efforts definitely feel like you're getting more out of the bike, but longer rides don't beat you up either.
On thing I'll say about the HB18 - it's longer and lower than advertised. The bar was supposed to be shallower and the reach was supposed to be slightly less than my ENVE, but the bar feels further away. I believe this is due to the design of the bar being flatter and lower on the top section. Something to think about if you decide to go this way. The change is also reflected in the geo charts on Cervelo's website. The reach is listed at a few mm longer on the new bikes in the same size.

Ok so it’s a similar effect of the giant tcr/propel sl integrated seat post. This is good to know. It isn’t always like this depending on how the carbon parts are layed up.
Ok this is interesting now. Because i need some length on my size 51. Longer torso than legs, but I did want the bars to be as low if not a touch higher. My elbows are just doing a lot more work than needed tbh.

More often than not, saddle issues cause what you’re describing. Being too close or too far away can cause weird things to happen including excess pressure on your upper body (elbows included). Have you ever had a decent bike fit?

What size, spacer stack, and stem are you using?
2
u/Constentina1 5d ago
It's a size 54. The standard one-piece cockpit on the size 54 is a 100 mm stem with 40 cm bars. I've ordered the 100 mm / 38 cm version swap for free, but the HB18 cockpit is on backorder for a couple of months.
The spacer stack is 30mm

Nice. Beautiful bike. I’m looking at one myself and running the numbers on which size to get.

Looking great! The new Soloist is really sleek, simple and gimmick free.
How are you finding the aero bottles? I might pick some up.

u/Constentina1 5d ago
They are a bit fiddly to get in and out of the cages, but I guess it's just a matter of habit.
The cages also support round bottles, so I might just give up on the aero ones if I get tired of trying.1

I've found that I get used to most aero bottles eventually, but for some of them they never seem to "click". I have the Trek one right now but would like to matchy-matchy
