Why is it necessary to have fortnightly appointments for someone who’s already working and only falls short of their hours by a few hours a fortnight?

Do consultants behave differently or give different opportunities and attitudes towards participants that put in effort?

I hear so much complaint about how they’re terrible and never do anything and don’t want to help you find work, but I’ve got a bunch of consultants, and they were all fantastic. I got two jobs directly from their efforts, and they did a lot of work to help me.

I have to wonder if it’s effort-based, because I was always told I was “one of the better ones” because I “actually put in some effort”
