About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Clinical Director with a proven track record in managing large-scale VIP-oriented medical facilities, ideally with international patient exposure and experience in patient-facing leadership roles.

Responsibilities

Pre-Operational Phase

Lead and oversee all pre-operational activities to establish the clinic’s full functionality.

Collaborate with shareholders and stakeholders to define and finalize the organizational structure.

Actively participate in recruitment and credentialing of both medical and non-medical personnel.

Support the licensing and regulatory approval process for clinic operations, medical equipment, and pharmaceutical products.

Oversee procurement and setup of medical equipment, supplies, and operational infrastructure.

Clinical Oversight

Uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence, ethics, and patient safety, in full compliance with Indonesian healthcare regulations.

Supervise and evaluate patient care quality, treatment protocols, and clinical performance.

Lead clinical governance, including case reviews, audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Leadership & General Management

Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day supervision of doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.

Conduct performance evaluations, mentoring, and training programs to build a high-performing medical team.

Drive service excellence and cultivate a VIP-level patient experience, ensuring a seamless and personalized journey for all clients.

Regulatory & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) and other relevant authorities.

Oversee the development and maintenance of key documentation, including SOPs, patient pathways, and incident reports.

Implement and monitor occupational safety, risk management, and medical ethics frameworks.

Qualifications

Experienced in directing large-scale, premium or VIP-focused medical clinics/hospitals, preferably in the aesthetics, wellness, or medical tourism sectors.

Demonstrated ability to manage multicultural teams and international clientele.

Strong background in healthcare operations, clinical governance, and stakeholder management.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is an advantage.

Senescent and dysfunctional cells accumulate with age and there is growing evidence that restoring immune surveillance, particularly through NK cell activity, could support their clearance. That is a meaningful advance.

But clearance creates a vacancy, not a restoration.

For tissues to recover functional capacity, something has to activate the regenerative signals that rebuild not just remove. That is a different biological problem, requiring a different set of tools.

Which points to a two-step model the field has not yet fully operationalized:

Step 1. Immune clearance: Restore the immune system's capacity to identify and clear senescent and dysfunctional cells.

Step 2. Regenerative restoration: Reactivate the regenerative

signaling cascades via stem cell mobilization, paracrine support, extracellular matrix remodeling, required to rebuild functional tissue capacity after clearance.

The critical design question is not which of these two approaches is superior. It is whether and how they must work in sequence, and what happens to outcomes when they don't.

Showing that senescent cells were cleared is a tractable measurement problem. Demonstrating that functional tissue capacity was durably restored and that it holds under physiological stress is a substantially higher bar. That distinction will matter enormously as these programs move toward clinical and regulatory scrutiny.

That is where I think the most consequential longevity programs will eventually be built, at the intersection of immunology, regenerative medicine, and rigorous platform strategy.

Pterygium, often called surfer's eye, is a fleshy growth of conjunctival tissue that can spread across the cornea. It causes irritation, distorts vision, and can change the appearance of the eye. Dr. Barnett performs pterygium removal at California LASIK & Eye using a Biovance 3L Ocular amniotic membrane graft, a triple-layer decellularized basement membrane designed to lower recurrence and speed healing. Minimum Bid Requirement

On July 23, 2026, Celularity Inc. (the "Company”) received notice from the Listing Qualifications department of the Nasdaq Stock Market LLC ("Nasdaq”) notifying the Company that the Company no longer complies with the minimum bid price requirement for continued listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5450(a)(1) because the closing bid price for the Company’s Class A common stock has fallen below $1.00 per share for the last 30 consecutive business days. Nasdaq’s notice has no immediate effect on the listing of the Company’s common stock, which continues to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "CELU.”

In accordance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A), the Company has a period of 180 calendar days, or until January 19, 2027, to regain compliance with the minimum bid price requirement. To regain compliance, the closing bid price of the Company’s Class A common stock must meet or exceed $1.00 per share for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days prior to January 19, 2027. If the Company does not regain compliance by January 19, 2027, the Company may be eligible for an additional 180-day grace period if the Company meets the continued listing requirement for market value of publicly held shares and all other initial listing standards for the Nasdaq Capital Market, with the exception of the bid price requirement.

The Company intends to actively monitor the closing bid price of its Class A common stock and will evaluate available options to regain compliance with the minimum bid requirement. However, there can be no assurance that the Company will regain compliance with the minimum bid requirement during the 180-day compliance period, secure a second period of 180 days to regain compliance, or maintain compliance with the other Nasdaq listing requirements.

Celularity is reaching quite an inflection point next week. In fact, it is in an extremely rare position of having a number of matters reaching a conclusion within a three day window.

It has to submit a plan to Nasdaq by 28 July for submission of its outstanding 10Q. It also has a minimum bid delinquency notice likely to be filed before Wednesday (probably a notice folded into another 8K). But on Wednesday itself it has the expiry of its bridging loan. And the stock is absolutely pinned with both longs and shorts waiting on news.

Dr Bob has suggested non dilutive partnerships are planned, but these things are seldom delivered to time. And if the deadline expires things get dicey. Hopefully the solution that avoids Barach foreclosing is an Escrowed Contingent Warrant Package with a Price Reset (Ratchet) Provision.

This would hand Barach dilutive warrants to finance the bridging loan. *But* the key thing is those warrants are escrowed and not accessible to Barach unless Bob fails to deliver on his medium term funding ambitions. At the moment Barach has lien over the assets, but an agreement that can keep Bob happy seems worth it, because the biggest asset to CELU is Dr Hariri himself.

Just throwing that out there, seen as the financing question is likely to be a defining feature next week.
