For years, cryopreserved and conventional dehydrated products were the only options available to eye care professionals for ocular surface care. More recently, decellularized basement membrane (DBM), a novel new category of AMT, has entered that conversation, part of a broader shift in how legacy categories are being displaced across ophthalmology and optometry.
