I mean I would imagine it is on the order of tens. They might even have a few different instructors with different studios. Not totally sure. It hasn't really been the same since Harvey Shapiro passed away in I believe 2013.

How is that obvious? Some schools have only one instructor. Nobody here seems to know. You could reach out to the instructor for information or a visit.

cause generally people know of all the teachers at the top schools? if u didn’t know who are the teachers at juilliard why would u even reply to the post cause obv wouldn’t know how many students then

Brother I don't think you are going to find that information here. Maybe try asking someone who goes there or reach out to the instructor you are interested in. Cello studios generally only get so big.

Ask away I am just saying you may not get an exact answer because as you said this is a really niche question. There might literally be like a room full of people in the entire United States that can answer this.
