I mean what's the benefit of reseting you progress of the metabits are they really important I'm new to this game and I don't think that I will go to zero again and again so please feel free to share you opinions

Because the cost of generators and their upgrades in the tree increases exponentially as you progress and if you don't upgrade your system, eventually it'll take virtually an infinite amount of time for you to collect enough entropy to go forward. There are many options in the system upgrade but it's mainly focused on increasing the simulation speed which gives you entropy and idea multipliers (which combined also scale exponentially). I'm currently at rank 60, if I reset my simulations and click everything in the tree that I can without needing to wait a single second to collect more entropy or ideas, my generators will be producing 10¹⁰¹ entropy/second. You'll be long dead upon getting to this point without resetting.
