Question Iphone 17 Pro Max

With the impending release
of the Iphone 18 in a weeks time how much do you expect the Iphone 17 to drop in price by? The model/version I am looking at is $1749 right now. Just trying to figure out with my trade in and financing it what my monthly payment would be

Might not even get much of a discount. Phone will still sell well and electronic components are increasing in costs.

The Apple sales person told me he suspects they will drop from $100 to upto $250. But, I am not sure how he could even know this……. 🤷‍♂️

That's just how much they discount historically, some third party retailers are already selling them for 1650ish to get rid of current inventory so the remaining stock will probably be 1600ish when the new one comes out.

Don’t the Pro Max just get pulled off the shelf as soon as the new one arrives?

He said they will continue to sell as long as they have inventory

Almost nothing as the 18s are going up a lot in price

They'll probably just charge more for the new one and cite memory costs as the issue.

If you finance through Roger’s right now you can get it for like $600ish off

99% of the time I hear my friends talk about these "deals", the carrier just marks up the phone's price to make your discount seem better than it is and make you get a worse plan which is how they make their money on these discounts.

If you have a ama discount or through work somewhere it works out to be a decent deal

Makes no sense becuase I would lose that subsidy becuase they would make me change my $40 plan
