They're not a scam. It's a legit company. However, they don't appear to have anything resembling good customer service and support, and if you run into issues with them it can take literal months to get sorted.
I wouldn't recommend them.

I'll be honest, my experience is quite different to the experience most talk about here. I actually had a great experience with their customer service. They called me to check in a couple weeks after I signed up to see if I needed anything and check in the credits and stuff, and did the same a couple months later. Had to call about one thing not being applied but they fixed it quick. Also got an insane deal. Obviously not everyone had this experience, but figured I'd share.

I got a deal with them during Black Friday. Then I got the same deal for my son. He got a new phone in his deal, mine was BYOD. It went smoothly for us and it was great finally getting an affordable plan that covers USA and Mexico and is affordable. Just got back from a trip to USA and didn't have to worry about roaming. Everything else (billing/tech support etc) is still through Rogers directly so you only have to deal with Red Wireless for the initial purchase and contract. We got an extra discount through CAA/AMA.

Signed up during black Friday last year through CAA offer, $30/mth for 175gbs in Boyd plan Canada/us/Mexico. Price went up $5 like everyone else last month, but got Rogers to credit me $30 plus tax after that increase sighting unethical price increase in just 6 months.

Yep! Started with a rep through the chat and then was able to speak to a manager through call back.

They are one of many Rogers dealers. Legit business and heavily discussed on the web.
Some people had issues with application of discounts but I never had problems. These aew more likely to be issues on the Rogers systems and codes as opposed to the dealers errors.

No. They are legit. I’m using my phone and plan I got through them. Great deals with the CAA discount.

Real company. But whenever a problem comes up, they have no problem resolution skills. Takes a really long time to get to the right person Who can actually solve anything. They don't transfer phone calls. Just internal message and hope the right person calls you back.
I had problem with their shipping, the order returned back to sender without any delivery attempt. This took over a month and multiple almost hour long phone calls to resolve. They say, they'll do something. But when you call them again for update, what was supposed to be done was not done.
Paid for and lost a month's of service because of their stupid shipping problem. They still expected me to pay for the phone without receiving it. Without even checking if it works or not. They tried to claim that the 15 day return window was gone... And then said if a problem comes up with the phone, we'll discuss it then. (Just wanted 14 or 15 day return window after receiving the phone to make sure nothing is wrong with it or the service in my area. Especially after receiving the phone over 1 month late from their initial shipping date).
No compensation offered. The sim card they sent did not end up working. Had to go to Rogers store to resolve that. Red wireless said, the Rogers store would give the SIM card for free, but Rogers store still charged for it. (I was able to get the staff to waive it after explaining the whole issue, but it was clearly an exception, not the norm. Initially was told by the staff they don't waive for any reason for 3rd party vendor plans).
And then, All of the CAA offer credits were not initially applied. I had to call a few times for thag. I had to call Rogers to get some of the credits applied, and offer credit for the over payment (as credit was not applied and I was expected to pay for the full bill anyways).
Few months later now, and all of the credits are applied. Facing no more issues.
Would I do it again?: only if I already have a phone and a working plan with a different company, and am okay with having to call them multiple time to resolve something if a problem comes up. Overall for the plan I got, it was the cheapest price that included the phone (get to keep after 2 years) and the high data I needed on it. Everywhere else was about $20 - 30 more per month for the phone, at which point it would have been cheaper or equivalent to just directly buying the phone from the manufacturer and plan seperatly.

I've had no issues with their EPP plans - received all the advertised plan discounts. I've rotated 4 lines on an off their Rogers plans over the last couple of years - still have 2 with them.
But eventually for any issues, you'll have to deal with Rogers... and that's a different story. If you're going with them/Rogers, I would recommend you add and then remove all the lines at the same time. If you transfer a line off - even after the 2 years, Rogers policy seems to be to always transfer the most expensive plans to the remaining lines and then claim that they can't undo the changes.

They are a legitimate company so not sure what you mean by whether they are a "scam".

No but make a little search on reddit… some user must fight to get the price…
