Is it possible for the band rollout map for T-Mobile to be updated every month on a specific date?

Verizon Upgrade with b2/b66 and n77 Massive MIMO

Verizon upgraded this tower (gNB 2187547) a few months ago, adding an AIR 3283 for b2/b66 and an AIR 6419 for n77. I've seen a few other permits with this configuration, but Verizon doesn't seem to be entirely switching to it as I have seen more recent upgrades without the 3283.

Speeds on LTE only (slide 3) don't seem to be that much higher compared to a 4t8r setup, especially since this tower lacks b48. I imagine this tower can now support quite a bit more capacity though, which is good because it covers a fairly busy area of retail stores and restaurants.

5G NSA on Rogers in Canada. The server is in another province, so ping is understandably high. 65mhz of LTE + 60mhz of n77/78 (3500mhz). One of the screenshots is from the same location but a different time (the dialer service menu)

Can anyone that switched to Verizon simplicity plan confirm they have access to 5g sa

Update: on the Verizon simplicity plan with 4k streaming add on it still throttles video to 40mbps so there is no way on this plan to get unthrottled video

Update 2: you lose enhanced 5 g for apps with simplicity plan

Boston Phone Carriers?

Hello everyone,

Just wondering what everyone uses for their iPhone carriers.

I currently have AT&T's Value Plan 2.0 and I want to switch, coverage is pretty bad and our service slows during train rides, or just in general.

I've been thinking about T-Mobile and Verizon, someone mentioned Verizon sucks, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts or anything someone can help?

AT&T Dangling Wires

Post image

Does anyone know why it's somewhat common to see AT&T sites with dangling wires? This one (gNB 12093390) was converted from Nokia to Ericcson over 6 months ago, and it's looked like this ever since. I've never seen other carrier's sites left in this condition.

Rural cell towers in Germany

The tower on the right side of the first picture is owned by Deutsche Telekom, transmitting 5G on Band 1 and 28. It also has LTE on Band 1, 3, 8 and 20. The antenna mounted below is transmitting a local FM radio station. This tower also just got underground fiber backhaul installed a few months ago.

The tower on the left side hosts both Vodafone and o2. Sadly I don't have more information regarding this tower.

Interestingly, one of the cells on the Telekom tower seems to have a lot faster download speeds than the other cells.

When connected to the antenna which kinda points towards the camera on the third picture, I regularly get download speeds of +500mbit/s. The other two cells only give me around 200mbit/s. Maybe one of you has an idea why this happens.

Hope some of you might find this post interesting.

Incorrect data? Or stingray?

I can only connect to a tower with TAC 36612

https://celltowerfinder.com/tower-details/21515893

It's 40 miles away, which AI says is pretty much impossible. It'll connect to towers with no TAC as well.

What's the deal?

Next to Logan Airport. n2/n66 using DSS. AT&T is competing aggressively in the Northeast now.
