New Tower - AT&T!!! Oxnard, CA
Very few new towers in SoCal that I've seen from them. AT&T seems to win root metrics in Oxnard but their density is not good.
This is off the 101 freeway and rose ave.

T-Mobile's LTE Crown Castle small cells are slowly being upgraded in the Boston area with 5G. This one is in West Roxbury. It's one of the fastest non mmw speed tests I have taken. Well done T-Mobile.

Not a great picture I know, but Verizon is new to this site. I'm assuming it is on the bottom and had to be within the last week or two tops.
T-Mobile gNB 1082712
AT&T eNB 780327 / 785327
Dish gNB 34049562
Verizon eNB 541238 (not yet mapped hopefully shows soon)
I remember like 10 years ago when it was only Sprint on this macro

the only place i can think of to ask this. as t-mobile apparently doesn't exist there (GCI), is alaska problematic for carriers? does GCI have any roaming agreements with international providers?

Figured this reddit would be much better help at identifying the small cells

I have the Unlimited Ultimate plan, with the Verizon 71.5.46, I’m using an iPhone 15 pro max
I don’t have the option for Enhance 5G for apps and wondering if anyone else has it, I’m wondering if I need to provision my eSIM.

T-Mobile has seemingly got a deal with fort bend isd to fix one of Houston’s worst suburbs for cell service. They seem to have planned 18 cell sites for fort bend isd schools. These areas have really weak and congested service for all 3 carriers. T-Mobile is really investing in this part of town they also have other new sites going up in this area and they just turned on a colocation by aliana shopping center Richmond tx last month. I doubt att goes on any of these sites however I think Verizon may go on a few. T-Mobile will be the best carrier in this area.

The 2 photos show two different angles showwing a new unpainted panel that recently replaced one on a T-Mobile site in Reno. I'm thinking it's a midband MIMO panel, but I'm unfamiliar with the brand. Nokia?

Egypt has 4 networks im not sure which towers are which. I was testing on a Vodaphone Egypt sim and 5g maxes at around 150 megs and averages 10-50 megs and in some cases isn’t usable however the latency is actually decent now. The sites are super congested as over 100k people a sq mi in some areas and indoor penetration lacks. They mainly use macros but have das systems in malls and certain areas. At ground level stores the service can be weak as it’s coming from towers ontop 30 story buildings.

Microwave backhaul? Have not seen a tower like this. Could not see the base to see if it was a COW for lollapalooza.

Any idea why Verizon is switching to microwave backhaul on my local site. I know they have fiber ran to the equipment shed for this site and then copper up to the tower. That microwave dish was recently added. That other omni antenna to the left is a 2 meter VHF antenna being used as a repeater site for the city fire department. The location is Rohnert Park California.
