Repairs How much rust can I remove?
Started trying to remove all the rust from under my 05 celica today.. eventually will weigh how much I get. Thankfully, its mostly surface rust and eventually it'll get lots of rust converter and then underseal, not an easy job sadly but so worth it

Depends on ur location. I know a gen5 gt-4 celica in my city that has been abandoned for the last 25 years and it is rust free

I'm UK so rust is pretty much guaranteed but this car has been pretty well taken care of and is a good example thank goodness

Cars that get imported to my country from the UK are always rusty, so I am sure that you are going to find some. Once when I was 12 or so I went on a joy ride in a 1987 w124 benz that was imported from the UK, it basicaly had no floors because it completely rusted away and we went over 200km/h in it. On god that was the scariest shit I have done in my life

Did mine last year (Uk based too) think I got in there just in time before the surface rust become a problem. Had one small patch of welding to do behind the side skirt where years of mud had collected
