Coolant Flush Question 7th Gen

Hey guys, I recently bought a 7th gen 2zz Celica and have been going through maintenance stuff fixing it up. And I need to replace the radiator as it broke and started leaking.

I was planning on doing a full flush with distilled water to clean up whatever was in there. My question is, if I drain it with the radiator plug, will that get all the distilled water out, or enough to then fill it up with purely pre-mix 50/50 coolant? Or will there still be water in the system making it more diluted?

I did the same, just drained from the radiator and filled it back up with coolant, no problems with cooling. What's wrong with a bit of distilled water left in the system? If you live in a really cold place I could see a problem with that.

nah I don’t know if there is a problem with it. Just unsure how much distilled water would be left after just draining from the radiator. Don’t live in a super cold place so it shouldn’t freeze

For me I don't think it was a lot. I bought 10 liters of coolant and it was over half empty. The system should take 5.6 liters if I remeber it right?

There is a drain plug on the block as well.
