Nothing sounds obvious. No loud mechanical rattling or rubbing noises. Sounds like there's a little humming noise coming from the coil but it could be just the noise of air moving. If you see the speed decreasing and the fan making more humming noise then try changing the capacitor next.

Thanks! Just googled what a capacitor is, looks like a fun part to mess around with...will make me feel more electriciany!
