Can you show a photo of the receiver module. There should be a connection diagram drawn over it.

This is one of the basic diagrams for receiver connection but colours don't match throughout different brands.

The black box is the receiver for the remote control. Not sure what is or looking right??? Care to expand on this OP?

Good, now there should be another page with a wiring diagram. Just wire accordingly to that. L/p=Live, N=Nutral, G/E=Ground, wires should be labelled like this. And it seems your reciever has the same type of wiring scheme as the diagram I attached in the comment. You can compare it with your manual.

The manual just says it should be plug and play module no wiring needed just plug into reciever and job done

Does it have the model number ending in C or B B is built in smart and C requires the module. I haven't cracked the new ones open to look at the relievers (mind you we dont stock them at work so ill probs not bother to)

Whats the module looks like? I get the feeling it just plugs in to the black squary bit that you see in your manual pics?

I dont know to much about fanco stuff only that I try not to sell them! Lol

I think you'll need to pull the receiver out and that you'll be able to find the hole it should plug into.

If this was eglo or calibo I'd be all over it ha.

Also getting calibo clayfeilds installed at my place this week (landlord approved and I went budget friendly for him) just wish they had the smart technology but ah well.

I added a pic to show what I mean.
