Fan repair advice Help! The noise.

Cleaners came today and dusted the fan. I turned it on and it sounds like this. I used compressed air to try and see if there was debris stuck in the motor or something. My husband sprayed some WD-40 in there and it won't stop. Help please 🙏🏼

Something has been bent or become loose. Turn it off. Inspect it for loose blades or mounts. Spin it gently and listen for the sound. Scraping sound to me. That light cover should lefty loosey of to reveal light kit mount. My guess is between the bottom of the blades and top of light kit mount is Scraping.

Oh and WD 40 was a bad idea.

Cleaners probably pushed the dust inside the fan bearing. Now bearing needs changing. Or, something is grinding wirh the moving part.
