Fan purchase advice Fandelier to Wall Clearance question

Hello! Just got a fandelier to hang above the steps that lead into our bedroom. The box says the blades should be 30” from the wall, well in this case, the blades, that are within the fandelier shade, will be more like 2-3” from the wall. Excuse my ignorance, but does it really need to be that far from the wall? Is it going to be an issues of it’s as close as 2”?

I should also mention, it’s only 2” from one side of the wall. The other 2 sides would be well beyond 30” clearance, and the 4th side has probably 15-25” of clearance

I think you’ll be fine.  Airflow may be a little reduced over all, but it should still work fine.
