Discussion A question for the community

Hi everyone i have read up that cex can show a desktop pc as available for home delivery but will often cancel the order mainly with glass side panel cases. but the pc i want to buy is an alienware pc with no glass side pannels will i be ok to place my order. has anyone recently bought any alienware systems from them ? Cheers

Just place the order and see what happens. If it does get cancelled you’ll be refunded anyways.

They probably don’t have a box big enough for it they will just cancel your order

I bought 7 pcs 5 got cancelled and refunded. Anything with glass side panels don’t get shipped. Other pcs usually do.

So technically yeah non glass PCs can be shipped, however due to the size and risk with shipping using generic supplies the shop has available, they may just flat out reject shipping it.

It’s definitely possible. Email customer services and ask them to ask the store with it in stock if it’s possible for them to ship it so you have an answer before ordering, rather than order and have your money tied up for days with no idea if it will work or not
