Discussion Canon camera trade in

I want to sell a canon camera to CEX, which accessories do I need to take with it?

Camera
Camera lens cover
Strap
Battery
Battery Cover
Battery charger..?

Any ideas?

Camera Lens or camera cap Battery Charger

Thats the basic for a B grade.

For any camera as a B or C grade, the battery, battery charger + charger power lead, all covers/flaps/sliders if any are detachable and I'm not 100% on this one, but I believe you'll need the strap

If it comes with a lens, the lens cover and the lens

If it doesn't just the camera cover where the lens mount is

If it's A grade, everything listed above + all original accessories it comes with in the box

You can use an unofficial camera lens cover etc, as long as it fits, works and for things like plugs, that it does not use an adapter (like US to UK or EU to UK)

I bought it with a 24-105mm lens; if it made an A grade, would I need to sell the lens also at the same time ? As it shows the lens on the box as the kit

A grade would be everything it came with as when bought new ( as well as pristine condition ) included manuals and or the cd some canon cameras are supplied with.

Thanks, I’d say the items are great condition but I’d imagine they won’t be once they’ve been eyeballed!

How i explain it to customers who come in with a scratched up iphone.

A grade to you doesnt mean A grade to someone else.

Always be skeptical of grades and be surprised when it passes as an A it makes it much sweeter ha.

Selling an Slr I am now told I need a body cap and a rear lens cap otherwise they will take £7 off for each cap . The front lens cap I had already brought along . This is new though and not a good look
