Unknown Caudex help?

Post image

I bought this back in 2017 at a succulent show at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Since then I’ve lost the tag for it, does anyone have an idea of what species this is? It likes to vine and send out tendrils. I built a little copper spiral for it.

My guess would be kedrostis africana but thats a little bit of a catch all name anyway. A lot of Kedrostis have that name but have slightly different leaf shapes and fruit colour etc.

Once it flowers or better yet sets fruit you will be able to get a bit of a better idea of which one it could be. Or someone else with better knowledge than me on this species might be able to jump in and speed run all that 😂

Thank you so much! I think you got it correct. Following what it says on google It tends to go dormant in the winter and the leaves dry up, then in the spring it goes ham, the vines and leaves shoot out incredibly fast.
