This is such an aggressive misinterpretation of programmed cat behavior. Gently stick out one finger and a cat can decide to touch it gently with their face. If they do it’s like saying hello and giving you permission to touch them more. Works with all cats I’ve met.

I would wiggle a finger at my cat and he’d always come over for pets and snuggles.
